"the primary feeling that this world is strange and yet attractive is best expressed in fairy tales...We all owe much sound morality to the penny dreadfuls." - G.K. Chesterton

a week (not) in the kitchen
I made a big (big) pot of veggie curry when we got back from MI on Monday and we've been eating it all week. It is pretty tasty, all tofu/green bean/potato/basil/bell pepper goodness. I was (mostly) enjoying not having to cook dinner (and my lunches graduated to "semi-elaborate") but eating the same thing every night was starting to be a bit maddening. Tonight, the horrible thought of eating the same thing again combined with wanting to go for a walk, so we went around the block for Thai food. I don't think there's a lesson here, at least not a broad and/or sweeping one, but I won't be making more than one leftover's worth of dinner again any time soon.
