Surprisingly, life moves pretty fast. Even when I don't "do much" the days are full and the weeks are short.
George went to Atlanta last week (two weeks ago? meh) and I went to Chicago (well, the Chicago suburbs) for a week, which was lovely. There were children to chase around and scrambled eggs to make and some sewing to do. Pretty much perfect. I drew the bat symbol more times in that week than the whole rest of my life put together. And I can draw pretty much any animal in a cape and a mask now, at least in sidewalk chalk.
I am almost done with my current quilt, and I am not sure if I am going to do any more this summer. Quilting is warm, and I don't want to turn the air conditioning on just so I don't die of heat exhaustion while sewing...
It has been raining off and on since last night, which is quite nice, really. I'd been wanting a thunderstorm :o)
Ooh, also, I made a few origami tutorials in Illustrator, which was way easier than I thought it would be, and makes me feel like some kind of craft guru. Heh. They are for my library class next month, which should be a good time.
